The International Workshop on ‘High Energy and Special Materials (HEMs) is a regular event organized by Tomsk State University and Federal Research and Production Centre (FR&PC), Russia in association with International collaborators like Politecnico di Milano, Italy; Airbus Safran Launchers (Ariane Group) and Universite Lyon 1, France; JAXA, Japan; and High Energy Materials Research Laboratory (HEMRL), DRDO, India.
First time, HEMs workshop was organised by Russian specialists in their country for the year 2004 and subsequently, it is being held in Russia and other countries like France, Japan and Monaco. The last HEMs workshop was held in Sep 2022 at Altai, Russia. The HEMs workshop has attracted eminent personalities and researchers from countries like Russia, UK, USA, Italy, Japan, France, Germany, Bulgaria, Israel, India, Austria etc.
The rapidly changing field of HEMs requires frequent review and monitoring of developments and research domains and HEMs-2023 is apt to deliberate the progress made in the vital areas of HEMs and their emerging trends. The exploration of cutting-edge technologies, the deliberations on innovative aspects of HEMs and the initiatives for collaborative developments are the major features of HEMs-2023. The main theme of this conference is ‘Emerging Trends in High Energy and Special Materials’, which is the need of the hour.
The XVIII International Workshop HEMs-2023 will be held to discuss and deliberate recent advances on High Energy Materials and allied technologies. In addition, the workshop is aimed at strengthening the collaboration of scientists and researchers across the globe on the development of new articles based on High energy and special materials.
